Panther Creek Trail is located in the Panther Creek Recreation Area off Historic US 441 in northwest Habersham County. This trail is a 5.5 mile hike that passes five waterfalls with Panther Creek Falls dropping down 60 feet into a swimming hole!
The 1.7 mile Rhododendron Trail is a moderate to difficult one-way trail leading from the Chenocetah Tower in Cornelia to Lake Russell in Mt. Airy. The almost hidden Cascade Falls lies near the trail, Nearby loop trails are the 6.2 mile Lady Slipper Trail and the 2.7 mile Sourwood Trail.
The Clarkesville Greenway loop trail lies behind Old Clarkesville Mill on Historic US 441 and is about 1/3 mile long - great for a hike or bike! Take the foot bridge over to Mary Street Park and relax under the shade trees!
I love this time of year - it is definitely great to get outdoors - the weather is gorgeous!
